FITTING.
It is important to have a properly fitting helmet. If your helmet fits correctly then it will be safe and comfortable.
Helmet sizes are taken from the CROWN measurement of your head. Take a tape measure and measure around your head, just above the ears - see the picture for guidance.

REMEMBER, if you are going to be wearing a balaclava then you need to do so when taking the measuement as your helmet may be too tight otherwise.
A helmet needs to be snug but not tight; You should not be able to feel the helmet move independently when moving your head from side to side for example. The helmet lining will give a little as it is worn.
